Open on Sunday, a mobile app enabling the localization of stores open on days covered by the trade ban.

The app is a response to a market need brought about by the introduction of a bill limiting trade on Sundays. Its goal is to make it easier for customers to locate retail and service outlets available in customers’ vicinity. The app, working under Android and iOS, enables filtering retail and service outlets based on their specialization, as well as including newly opened outlets into the database.

For outlet owners the app constitutes a swift communication channel with customers. Customers, in turn, get a possibility to locate a store on the map, check the opening ours and the category of products on offer (e.g. groceries, pharmacy, gas station, restaurants, places worth visiting), receive notifications on their mobiles when a store opens within 1,500m off their current location, calculate the quickest route to the outlet, as well as to individually add outlets directly on the map.
